Angela Caban

Writer, Mentor, Military Spouse

Angela Caban has been involved with the military community for 10 years, since the young age of 17. She has been married to her husband for seven years and they have one son, Avery, who is five years old. Her husband who was deployed in 2008, was one of the many soldiers impacted by the unprecedented activation of the National Guard. Angela has an extensive background in Human Resources, Communications and Languages and has a Bachelors in Business Administration and Human Resources. She is currently pursuing her MBA.

She is a dedicated writer and founder of the Homefront United Network, a military spouse and family support website created to assist spouses and families through encouragement, educational articles and resources. Angela's column for the Veteran Journal discusses topics such as deployment, relationships, PCS, benefits and the pressures of being a National Guard spouse. Angela also contributes to many other online and print publications.

Angela is one of the contributing writers for the book "Faith Deployed...Again", which has been published by Moody Publishers and released on July 1st 2011. She is also working on her first book, the release date has yet to be announced. She resides in New Jersey with her family.
